I'm running for City Council because Ward 1 deserves strong progressive policy
I'm a student and service worker. I experience Ann Arbor's cost-of-living crisis every single day — not in a policy briefing, but when I pay rent, go to the grocery store, or have conversations with my neighbors who are being pushed out of this city.
I'm running as an independent democratic socialist because I believe working-class representation matters when it comes to the issues our city faces. For too long, City Hall has listened to corporate donors and real estate developers while students, service workers, renters, and longtime residents go unheard.
The people of Ward 1 deserve to hear their voices heard. The issues facing us are complex and will not be solved without strong progressive voives for the working-class.
As your City Council member, I pledge to fight for public housing, tenant and labor rights, and to protect our city's future from corporate greed, federal fascism, and climate change.
My opponent is an establishment incumbent who raised more than $40,000 in her last campaign. Her website still doesn't have a single tangible policy proposal. My campaign runs on people power — no corporate donors, no PAC money, no establishment loyalty. Just our neighbors, our community, and our future.
Help me get money and partisanship out of our city politics and fight for the Ann Arbor our Ward deserves.
